Bloodstained Wiki

A blade that has been magically endowed with flight capabilities.

The Flying Edge is a Sword in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

When attacking, Miriam throws the Flying Edge away. The blade will fly a good distance, rotate, and then return to her like a boomerang. Only one Flying Edge can be "active" at a time.

Availability[]

Towers of Twin Dragons: While climbing up the exterior of the left tower, once reaching the door that gives access inside the tower, turn around and jump on the series of rotating gears on the left while heading in a general leftward direction. Keep heading left along the segments of coiled pathway, and when reaching the gap with more rotating gears below, jump on them while also heading left; the green chest containing the Flying Edge is sitting on a high platform at the end of this path (it is below an HP Max Up on the path above). Reaching the chest can be difficult on the player's first visit to this area, though, due to the precise platforming required while jumping on the rotating gears, so they may opt to first pay a visit to the Livre Ex Machina and defeat the boss there to obtain the Double Jump shard, and then return to the Towers of Twin Dragons to pick up the Flying Edge, which will be much easier to reach then.
