Flying Beef is a rare food ingredient in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Availability[]
- Dropped by:
- Haagenti (1.00%)
Only one enemy drops Flying Beef: the Haagenti, which has just a 1.00% chance to yield beef on defeat. They are solely found in the Oriental Sorcery Lab; one can be found alone in a room off of the torii gate teleporters. Between this and the similarly valuable Bovine Plume, it is recommended to use this room for farming Haagenti until each item is acquired.
If you are willing to stump up many thousands of Gold and make use of loads of Alkahests (most easily farmed from Amy enemies in the Hidden Desert), you ultimately only need one Flying Beef to drop from a Haagenti to get enough Flying Beef to cover all of your meal preparing needs. Preparing a Meat Hot Pot only takes one Flying Beef (whereas the other two recipes take two beefs each), and you can buy two more Meat Hot Pots at Dominique's supply post and dismantle them for 18 Alkahests to get two Flying Beefs back. This lets you prepare one of the other two recipes and permanently add that to the supply post, and dismantling a purchased duplicate of that (for 9 more Alkahests) will get you the final two beefs you need to craft the remaining, third recipe.
Usage[]
Like almost all ingredients, Flying Beef is only useful for preparing food via Johannes's alchemy menu in Arvantville.
Flying Beef is one of the ingredients required for preparing:
- Exquisite Steak (Flying Beef ×2, Halite ×1, Black Pepper ×1, Butter ×1)
- Meat Hot Pot (Flying Beef ×1, G-Bone Steak ×1, Plume Pork ×1, Soy Sauce ×1)
- Beef Curry (Flying Beef ×2, Curry Sauce ×1, Rice ×1)
Flying Beef is not used in any Shard enhancements. It takes at least 5 Flying Beef to craft and enhance everything in the game, with all five being base ingredients.
