A scarf that resembles fire.

The Flame Scarf is a Scarf in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

The Flame Scarf gives decent stat bonuses like DEF +4 and STR +3, the latter which will moderately increase the player's physical damage output. Additionally, it gives resistance to Fire by +10.

While it can be crafted by spending ×1 Silk and ×1 Bixbite, a free Flame Scarf can also be obtained from a green chest in the Inferno Cave. However, while this item could be quite useful while exploring this area, as there are many enemies that use Fire elemental attacks and there are also many lava pits, the chest can only be reached after obtaining the Invert shard after defeating Orobas, the boss of this area, at a time when the Flame Scarf arguably isn't that useful anymore. Nonetheless, due to its STR boost, it is still a good Scarf to equip at any time.

Availability[]

  • Arvantville:
  • Inferno Cave: Found in the top-left corner of the first large lava room of this area. It is inside a green chest enclosed within a wall-like formation with a small gap on it. To reach it, the player first needs to acquire the Invert shard by defeating Orobas, the boss of this area, then head back to the room with the chest and cast Invert to land on the ceiling. The player then needs to aim the Reflector Ray so the beam passes through the wall's gap and gets them inside the enclosed space, allowing them to open the chest and retrieve the scarf.

Trivia[]

  • The design of the Flame Scarf resembles the tails of the phoenix, an immortal bird from Greek mythology that is associated with the Sun and which is said to be reborn from the ashes of its predecessor. The phoenix is typically depicted dwelling in flames.
