The Fiend Skull is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Fiend Skull is the more common of the material types dropped by the G Axe Outsider, which is exclusive to the final zone in the game, the Glacial Tomb. Fittingly, it can only be used to advance various shards from Rank 7 to Rank 9; since there are a total of three such shards, a total of six Fiend Skulls will be needed.
The easiest such shard is the Inferno Breath directional shard awarded by the Valac boss, which only takes these skulls for those ranks and increases its coverage as it is ranked up. The Death Cry conjure shard dropped by the Cyhyraeth has the coverage of its Slow-inducing attack increased primarily by being enhanced through usage of the Witch's Tears the monster itself drops. Finally, the Summon Ghost conjure shard dropped by the early-game Ghost undergoes its final two duration-increasing ranks by using two Fiend Skulls in conjunction with two Sinister Skulls dropped by Shield Outsiders.
If you have the paid DLC "Succubus Cosmetic Pack" installed, the fourth version of the Scythe spear-class weapon can be upgraded from its 45-ATK self to its fifth and final 50-ATK version by spending one Fiend Skull, one Alexandrite from the blue chests in both Glacial Tomb and Den of Behemoths, and one Cypress from the Giant Cannons in the Den of Behemoths.
