The Fiend Eye is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

The Tracer is only found in the very last zone of the game, Glacial Tomb, so its Fiend Eye dropped material can only be used to top off the ranks of a select few shards that you will have had the opportunity to rank up to 7 prior to that point. By far the most relevant shard is the Augment INT passive shard that can have been dropped by the basic Demon in the earlier portions of zones that have higher-leveled regions explored later on. Like similar stat-augmenting passive shards, its primary material required is the Ectoplasm that is either bought cheaply or dropped by Ghosts or Amys, and the middle three ranks each take one Holy Water as well. Once two Fiend Eyes are used to rank up Augment INT to 9, its skill shard counterpart will unlock, which passively grants Miriam both bonus INT (depending on the number of grades collected) and a separate bonus for faster casting.

Coincidentally, the Gargoyle enemy that can be encountered in lower Dian Cécht Cathedral alongside the first Demon you face drops a shard that also requires Fiend Eyes to top off: Petra Ray, which produces a petrifying beam that petrifies for longer periods based on its rank. The materials needed to bring it up to Rank 7 are three Toad Eyes and three Sinister Eyes, respectively dropped by the Toad and Poison Toad.

In Oriental Sorcery Lab much closer to the end of the game, the large Kamikaze monster drops the Tornado Slicer directional shard, which increases its coverage as its rank is increased. All eight ranks each take one Flight Feather, dropped by the Ocypete in the upper part of the Cathedral zone, and the middle three ranks each take one additional Demon Wing dropped by the Gaap in the zone. The final two ranks each take one Fiend Eye.

The Sakura Storm conjure shard is given to you at the start of the game if you have the paid DLC "Japanesque Cosmetic Pack" installed. It increases its coverage as it is ranked up, and the other items it consumes on the way to Rank 9 include Toad Eyes, Gargoyle Stones, Poison materials, and Dark Matter.
