The Faerie Wing is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

Sidhes can be fought halfway through the game in the Underground Sorcery Lab by clearing the train ride sequence at the Bridge of Evil. The Faerie Wings they drop can immediately be used to advance through the first three ranks of the Double Jump skill shard, introducing an extremely brief moment of invincibility at the second jump. The Familiar: Carabosse shard dropped by its earlier Carabosse cousin gains ranks primarily using its own dropped Faerie Dust, making it a "more powerful familiar," and Faerie Wings are the additional materials needed for the middle three ranks in particular.

You can also use a Faerie Wing in conjunction with a Lili Tail to "upgrade" a Beast Beret (such as the one found in the east end of Garden of Silence) into a Cute Beast Beret, a headpiece that enhances STR. However, the very similar and arguably superior Wolf Hood can be dropped by the Wolfman way earlier in the game, at the first screen of the Towers of Twin Dragons, so this is not a recommended craft to pursue.

Two of the best crafting projects involving Faerie Wings become available to complete when you reach Hall of Termination. So long as you retain the Healing manipulative shard the Sidhe also drops, you unlock the privilege to craft your own grades of the Regenerate passive shard, each using one Faerie Wing, one High Potion, and one Demon Tail (dropped by the Archdemon that can first be fought in Hall of Termination). Ranking that to Rank 9 requires a total of three Potions, three High Potions, and two Ex Potions.

Once you find Fine Equipment/R in the Hall, you can use a Faerie Wing and a Wool (dropped by the aforementioned Wolfman) to craft a Faerie Scarf, which offers better DEF and INT than the similar Bat Wings (as well as Lightning resistance). Much later in the game, you can find a free Faerie Scarf in the enclosed bottom area of Forbidden Underground Waterway that is only reached by exiting out of Hidden Desert's west end.

If you have the paid DLC "Magical Girl Cosmetic Pack" installed, the Walnut that can be found in blue chests in the underground lab can be used in conjunction with a Faerie Wing and a Platinum (dropped by Axe Outsiders) to elevate the unique Miri Scepter from its 29-ATK second version to its 33-ATK third version. (Unexpectedly, this can only be done immediately after upgrading from its first version, which requires a Vespine Wing dropped by the Titania all the way over in the Hall.)
