An egg dish that looks and tastes as fluffy as a cloud.

Egg Soufflé is a Food item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Availability[]

Egg Soufflé is prepared through Johannes's alchemy menu in Arvantville, requiring Dragon Egg ×1, Heavy Cream ×1, Sugar ×1, and Butter ×1. Dragon Eggs, the latest-found ingredients, are dropped by Dragons (5%) in Livre Ex Machina's later regions, and 2 Dragon Eggs at a time can be dropped by the Abyssal Guardian (10%) that appears as both a boss in that zone and a common enemy in the Den of Behemoths near the end of the game. Sugar is bought directly at Dominique's supply post.

Heavy Cream is a food ingredient that can be bought from the shop for 400G after it has been crafted at least once from Beast Milk, which is dropped by Zagan (8%) in the Garden of Silence and Sugar. (Alternatively, you can get a set of five free Heavy Cream by completing Lindsay's midgame-tier quest, "Avenge the death of Dario!", by slaying 6 Ocypete in upper Dian Cécht Cathedral.) Butter similarly becomes available for purchase once that has been crafted for 1 Milk and 1 Halite (both store bought ingredients).

Once one Egg Soufflé has been prepared, it can be bought from Dominique for 680G. In addition, an Egg Soufflé is in a brown chest in a hidden cave room behind a breakable wall east of the boss room in the Inferno Cave.

It is possible to prepare an Egg Soufflé before even entering the Garden of Silence for the first time by dismantling a Chocolate Cake, which is rewarded from Abigail's fourth quest (requiring submitting Bat Wings). That, in turn, is easy to complete after completing her third quest by submitting the Brigandine awarded by Lindsay's early quest to defeat two Sabnocks.

Usage[]

Egg Soufflé is a food consumable restoring 170 HP whenever used and giving a permanent bonus of +3 MND when first eaten. It is roughly at the halfway point between the Potion and High Potion in terms of both restorative value and and gold expense, though as a meal it can be carried in the double digits.

Egg Soufflé is also required for Susie's thirteenth quest, "Fluffy", which rewards you with a Misericorde.
