The Eastern Fabric is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

Late in the game in Oriental Sorcery Lab, the Ninjas standing in your way will drop the Eastern Fabric at a healthy 10% base rate. One of only two items they can be used for crafting, the Shinobi Garb, additionally takes two Silk (dropped by the Allocers in Hidden Desert) and would require Very Fine Equipment/R to craft; nonetheless, that also can be dropped by the Ninja at a 6% base rate. You are more likely to want to farm Shinobi Garbs and dismantle them for their Silk, which sells for quite a high amount of Gold per unit.

The other item that can be crafted, Tatenashi, is an endgame-exclusive armor that requires two Orichalcum from the Glacial Tomb zone at the very end of the game, as well an Imbrued Skull dropped by the Revenant mini-boss whose boss room in Garden of Silence requires the Warhorse's Key found in the Glacial Tomb. (Imbrued Skulls can also be randomly found in blue chests in The Tunnels, a bonus area reachable from Hidden Desert after entering Den of Behemoths for the first time.) These materials can only be found some time after you are first able to find Crimsonite Equipment/R in the Oriental Lab itself, with a Crimsonite dropped by the same Ninjas (and found in blue chests in the area) being the last remaining material. Though positioned as the "ultimate" physically protective body armor, many players prefer to stick with the more general-purpose Coronation Gown.

Between the fabrics commonly dropped by Ninjas and what you can get from dismantling their dropped Shinobi Garbs, it should not be difficult gathering a total of four Eastern Fabrics (and four Crimsonites) to advance both the Ninja's Shuriken conjure shard and the earlier Assassin's Flying Dagger directional shard through their respective final two ranks. These add additional projectiles to each cast of both shards.
