EXP Gain is a statistic in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It increases a determined percentage of the player's Experience intake.
Description[]
EXP Gain is a special statistic that increases by a determined percentage the amount of Experience (EXP) the player obtains after defeating an enemy. Unlike the rest of the stats that gain points as the player levels up (except MP Quickcharge), EXP Gain can only be increased by consuming certain Foods that raise it, with each food granting a determined percentage amount - up to an overall maximum of +10% EXP intake. These foods usually include noodle or pasta dishes, as well as a couple of other exotic dishes of diverse origins.
By acquiring a higher amount of EXP, the player will become able to level up faster, gaining diverse bonuses distributed among their other statistics every time they do so, and thus become stronger, more resilient, and overall more efficient in battle.

Notes[]
- The Weighted Ring, the Tactician's Tome, and the Tome of Conquest also increase the amount of Experience gained after defeating enemies; however, their effects only last while they are equipped and don't actually modify the EXP Gain statistic itself.
