The Discount Card is a key item in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. When in possession, all prices in Dominique's supply post will be lowered by 10%.
Description[]
Purchasing the Discount Card will usually require careful planning by the player in order to meet its steep 100,000G price. This only starts becoming achievable about midway through the game, as the Discount Card will only be added to Dominique's stock after defeating Bathin in the Underground Sorcery Lab.
There are many strategies the player can follow to collect the high amount of gold required. For example, they can obtain the Money Is Power shard from a Mimic, and enhance it a few levels, and sell all their unused items at higher prices; then farm and sell items of great value that won't be used (Mahogany, Walnut, Wool, Cypress, etc.).
However, due to the Discount Card's high price, purchasing it may not give any benefit to the player if they aren't planning to purchase many items afterward (like more copies of items they have already crafted or food they have already prepared for further crafting and enhancing, or great quantities of Alkahests to dismantle items). As such, if the player isn't planning to do heavy item management afterward, they may not end up making back the gold they spent on purchasing the card. On the other hand, if the player is planning to craft and prepare lots of items, they will soon be compensated for their investment and even make big profit of it.

Notes[]
- Only one Discount Card can be purchased in the game (as such, there's no possibility to buy more and stack their effects).
- The card does not affect the price of items sold to Dominique, only those purchased from her.
- It can be sold for 31,250G, although doing so will make all item prices to return to normal.
Trivia[]
- The Discount Card has a similar function as some items that have appeared the Castlevania series, like the V.I.P., Member Plate and VIP Card, all of which reduce the prices of their respective games' shops, and which also share the particularity of usually taking some effort to obtain them, whether it is for having a very high price or just to manage to get them in-game. Since all these games (Ritual of the Night included) were produced by Koji Igarashi, it is likely the Discount Card was inspired by them.
