“ | A demon necklace that eliminates vulnerability when using shards. | „ |
The Demon Necklace is an Accessory in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Wearing the Demon Necklace increases magic speed rate by 0.2,[1] which means that it reduces the recovery time after using a Shard, and as consequence, it increases the rate of fire of Directional Shards. This allows the player to recast spells faster and thus greatly increase their magical damage per second output potential when using offensive shards.
Availability[]
- Arvantville: Reward from Susie for completing her "Craving a Risotto" quest by bringing her an Apple Risotto.
Notes[]
- The Demon Necklace's game data states that it increases
MagicSpeedRate
by 0.2. From testing, this seems to mean +20% shard fire rate. - The description of the Demon Necklace is misleading; it reads that it "eliminates vulnerability when using shards", which could be interpreted as decreasing or removing a greater damage intake when casting spells.
- However, some people have reported that the player character does receive greater damage when casting spells and that this vulnerability is removed when wearing the necklace, making them take a normal amount of damage instead, although this is currently unconfirmed.
- The recovery time reduction when wearing the Demon Necklace isn't noticeable with Shards which the player has to wait for the spell to finish before they are able to cast it again (like Teps Oceus).
