A bone from a demon.

The Demon Bone is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

The Demon Bone is the more common drop of the Volcano Morte endemic to the Inferno Cave zone, and all of the shard enhancements it enables can be completed right away. Two bones can be used to advance through the final two ranks of the Flamethrower directional shard the Volcano Morte itself drops, increasing the number of projectiles it spawns.

After spending most of the game with the Bone Toss directional shard (incidentally dropped by its early-game cousin Bone Morte) capped at Rank 4, you can spend three Demon Bones to increase its rank (and therefore hurled projectile size) to Rank 7, and and you can spend two more Demon Bones and two Sinister Skulls dropped by the various Shield Outsiders fought throughout the map to bring it up to Rank 9.

Finally, once you defeat the Orobas boss in Inferno Cave and win Invert, you can rank it up to increase the duration of the invulnerability period whenever you use it, and its final two ranks each require one Demon Bone.

If you have the paid DLC "Succubus Cosmetic Pack" installed, the third version of the Scythe spear-class weapon can be upgraded into its fourth version (thus gaining 11 ATK to reach 45 ATK points) by spending a Demon Bone, a Crystal, and a Mahogany. The latter two materials are common spawns in the self-refilling blue chests scattered throughout Hidden Desert.
