| ~ Description from Ritual of the Night |
Decarabia is an enemy in the Bloodstained series.
Appearances[]
Ritual of the Night[]
Decarabia is a very bizarre-looking enemy consisting of what appears to be a humanoid upper torso with two long arms that have three elbow-like junctures along them and whose hands are held on the front with their fingers interlaced in a praying-like pose. It wears a white hat-like garment on its head with a (seemingly bloodstained) horn or shard ripping out from it. It also has a cloth covering its face with the image of a big eye embroidered on it. The whole monster is eternally embedded within a circular shape (possibly a blade) which is attached to a chain.
Despite its threatening appearance, Decarabia isn't really a powerful enemy; if any, it is just a bit more resilient than most other enemies that usually appear along it. When struck, it will be knocked back as far as its chain allows it and then wildly ricochet around, although other times it will just remain almost immobile for a few seconds before launching itself back at the player.

Trivia[]
- According to The Lesser Key of Solomon, Decarabia is a demon and a Great Marquis of Hell. He has thirty legions of demons under his command and knows the virtues of all herbs and precious stones. He appears as a pentagram star, changing into a man under the conjurer's request.
- The inclusion of this enemy in the game could possibly also been inspired by the enemy Decarabia from the Castlevania franchise.
