The Cursed Ring is an Accessory in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Wearing the Cursed Ring will boost the player's STR and INT stats by +10, allowing them to greatly increase both their physical and magical damage outputs. However, the ring will also greatly reduce their LCK stat by -10. Since many things are affected by LCK in Ritual of the Night (like enemy drops or extra units crafted or prepared by equipping Alchemic Bounty or the Apron, respectively), it isn't advisable to equip this ring for standard exploration. Additionally, wearing the ring will increase the player's resistances to Dark and Poison by +10, while reducing Light and Curse by -10.
Wearing this ring is especially useful for boss fights if the player is aiming to win their Medals, as in any case, they will attempt to not receive any damage during those encounters, and on the other hand, the increase in power will allow them to defeat bosses faster, although also sacrificing the probability of dealing Critical Hits due to the LCK decrease.
The Cursed Ring can be considered to be a basic counterpart of the Risk Ring, giving similar bonuses along with a number of penalties, although the former doing so at a lower scale.
