Defiler of Taboos is the seventh stage in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.
Overview[]
The setting of this stage takes place in a vast library full of Dantalions and groups of moving platforms that have a tendency to travel off-screen. It contains several stage design elements similar to Livre Ex Machina in concept such as the bookshelf-shaped platforms capable of retreating to background for a short period. Titanias might also be a nuisance in sections where bottomless pits are plentiful and there is little space available to avoid them. That is why it is best to attack one the instant it is within striking distance. While navigating through the stage outside, one will notice that the moon is ominously in its waning gibbous phase. In Nightmare Mode, on the other hand, the moon is in its waxing crescent phase, indicating that it is getting closer to a new moon.
