The Dragon's Silhouette, called Hearts Ablaze in Episode 2 and Final Hope in Episode EX, is the first stage in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2.
Overview[]
The stage is set atop a wide tower made of stone. The environment is decorated with statues that mostly depict birds and angels, along with pieces of slightly tattered cloth that wave from the walls and outdoor platforms. Much of the stage is set outdoors where spires are visible in the background.
In the beginning of Episode 1, the exorcist Dominique connects this "Demon Tower" to the sudden reappearance of the Hellhold castle, and sends the demon hunter Zangetsu to investigate. She drops him in an outdoor section from a paraglider, leaving him to traverse the stage from there. At the end of the stage, Zangetsu confronts the Drago-Symbiote, the result of a dragon being possessed by a lightning demon. Dominique finishes the boss for him and joins him for the remainder of Episode 1. In later episodes, the party begins in the same place where Dominique dropped Zangetsu.
There are two Mana Upgrades in this level, available only in Episodes 2 and Final, which cannot both be acquired on the same run of the level. The first is found by following the alternate route revealed by Hachi smashing crates with his ground pound, then crawling/sliding through a small opening a short time later. The second is found by initially following the normal route, but using Gebel to fly through a small opening in a wall that is otherwise unreachable. Following that route leads to the second Mana Upgrade.
