The Crow Mask is an Accessory in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The Crow Mask is a standard Accessory that offers nothing out of the ordinary in regard to defense and is instead mainly used to customize the player character.
Availability[]
- Livre Ex Machina: During the player's first visit to the Livre Ex Machina (after a quick visit to the Towers of Twin Dragons and before acquiring the Double Jump shard), they will mandatorily reach a vertical room with a suspicious looking bookcase on its bottom-left corner; approach and keep walking toward this bookcase and it will soon rotate, giving the player access to a secret room with a green chest containing the Crow Mask, as well as the portrait of the backer who inspired it.
Trivia[]
- The Crow Mask is likely inspired by the Venetian "plague doctor" mask; a mask resembling a bird's eyes and beak, the latter in which the wearer inserted a mixture of herbs believed to counteract the effects of the Black Death plague that was occurring in Europe at the time.
- The rotating bookcase behind where the secret room containing the Crow Mask is found is a nod to the Long Library in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, where a similar bookcase could be found.
