So, what I can do for you here in the workshop is take materials you bring me and transmute them into new items.

Craft is a gameplay mechanic featured in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.

Description[]

In Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, crafting is a process through which various items and materials Miriam finds throughout the castle can be combined to make new items, ranging from healing consumables, weapons, ammunition, armor, accessories, and even new Shards not obtainable elsewhere. The process can also work in reverse, dismantling items to obtain materials. Crafting can also be used to make food, which offers a variety of healing items, as well as a permanent increase to Miriam's stats the first time an item is consumed. Crafting can only be preformed through Johannes. Any items and foods that are successfully crafted by Miriam will be added to Dominique's shop permanently. Note that this does not apply to items produced through disassembly.

Any items sold to Dominique (weapons, body gear, consumables, etc.) will be added to Johannes's "Craft" menu and become available for forging. However, these items may or may not immediately appear on the list, although rest assured they'll eventually do. It is currently unknown what exactly triggers the items to appear on the list.

For a full list of items that can be crafted using Johannes's services, see Alchemy Notes.

In Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, crafting will be significantly different because of the absence of Shards, but the rudiments of this mechanic such as forging and upgrading weaker weapons to stronger ones will remain similar to Ritual of the Night. Cooking food dishes through crafting is also confirmed to return.
