Stage 4 is the fourth stage in Classic Mode in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Overview[]
The player lands in this stage after a very long fall down a castle tower. It begins in a cave environment reminiscent of the main game's Forbidden Underground Waterway. The player must cross waters by riding moving platforms at the risk of being knocked to their death by flying Scythe Mites and Seamas that jump up from the water. The solid terrain is made up of wooden planks and irregularly shaped rocks where guillotine-like platforms, Cannon Mortes and Lance Armors add to the danger. After a staircase climb, the cave trek continues with a greater emphasis on platforming, where the player must either ride a series of moving platforms near the ceiling or walk on a combination of different types of terrain below.
The player climbs out of the caves and finds themselves in an outdoor area that resembles the ruins of Arvantville. Here, Aellos frequently fly in and drop Gieremunds that chase the player. A Wall Dragon guards the entrance to a building that, upon entry, turns out to be a laboratory similar to the Secret Sorcery Lab. Inside the laboratory, the player ultimately faces the boss of the stage: a Wolfman accompanied by an invincible Simian. After the Wolfman's defeat, the Simian also disappears and a heart drops. Touching the heart ends the stage.

Trivia[]
- This stage is very similar in environment, layout and level design to Block 4 from Castlevania, to the point where some elements appear to be nearly exact recreations. Both stages also end with a battle against a hulking, humanoid foe accompanied by a smaller, invincible one that fires projectiles; in Castlevania, these are Frankenstein's Monster and Igor, respectively.
