Chisel Barrage is a Directional Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
The player throws forward a series of damaging chisels; the same type that are thrown by the Master Carpenter, who is precisely who drops this Directional Shard. Enhancing this shard allows to throw the chisels at a higher rate, increasing its damage per second output. If in addition to this the player has high enough stats and proper gear equipped (higher INT increases damage dealt by the thrown chisels), Chisel Barrage can become one of the most powerful offensive shards in the game.
Availability[]
- Dropped by:
- Master Carpenter (15.00%)
Enhancements[]
Rank: Better rapid fire.
Tips on gathering materials[]
- Steel: Drops from Blood Grinder Knight (5%) and Sabnock (8%) between Entrance and Garden of Silence, then drops from Buer Armor (8%) in later Garden of Silence and the early portions of Towers of Twin Dragons and Forbidden Underground Waterway. The Shovel Armor throughout the Waterway drops Steel at a 10% chance.
- Damascus: First drops from Puppy (5%) at the west station of Bridge of Evil. Drops from Axe Outsider (12%) as early as the advanced enemy room above the "Sabnock chamber" in the Entrance, and later appears in the later portions of Livre Ex Machina and Hall of Termination. Found in blue chests in Underground Sorcery Lab and later Livre Ex Machina. Also dropped by Lance Armor (8%) in later Livre Ex Machina and upper Dian Cécht Cathedral. Each Shovel dropped by Shovel Armor (6%) dismantles into 2 Damascus using 6 Alkahests.
- Platinum: Drops from Axe Outsider (5%) as early as the advanced enemy room above the "Sabnock chamber" in the Entrance, and later appears in the later portions of Livre Ex Machina, Hall of Termination, and the Forbidden Underground Waterway. Found in blue chests in the later Hall and later Waterway, as well as the later Dian Cécht Cathedral. Also dropped by Zepar (10%) in Hidden Desert and Inferno Cave.
Notes[]
- Rapidly crouching while firing Chisel Barrage will cancel its attack delay, greatly increasing this shard's rate of fire.
- Chisel Barrage works especially well with the Demon Necklace, as it will reduce its casting delay even more, up to a point where the player will be able launch a nonstop stream of chisels forward. At a high Rank and with high enough stats these projectiles can become very powerful and deadly, even allowing the player to defeat some bosses in just a matter of seconds.
