The Breeder is a secret boss in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. It is a crossover boss with the game Kingdom: Two Crowns. This monster is fought at the end of the secret Dead Lands stage as a boss fight. It was included in the game in 2021 as part of the "Kingdom Crossover" update.
Description[]
The Breeder is the boss of the short hidden level, Dead Lands. To find this stage, the player first has to defeat Bathin in the Underground Sorcery Lab during the main game. Once done, the headgear item Crown of Creation will become available at Dominique's shop for 1G. The addition of this new item will also be hinted on the game map by the appearance of a golden crown icon on the block that marks Dominique's study.
Once the Crown of Creation has been purchased, the player must head to the Bridge of Evil, board the train one more time, and make their way toward its end. However, before exiting the train, they must first wear the Crown of Creation. If correctly done, the player will be teleported to the Dead Lands stage. Dead Lands is a short stage where the player has to fight a couple of Gamigins and then face the boss, Breeder.
Just like in its game of origin, Kingdom: Two Crowns, the Breeder is a bulky and slow monster, but also very strong and remarkably resilient. It attacks either by throwing powerful punches or by vomiting series of Greedlings. Once defeated, the player will obtain the Familiar: Archer shard, which summons a pixelated flying Archer (also from Kingdom: Two Crowns) who follows Miriam and shoots series of arrows at enemies with deceptively good accuracy.

- This enemy doesn't have an entry in the "Demons" section of the "Archives" menu. As such, it neither has an identifying number in the bestiary nor an in-game description.
