The Bovine Plume is a material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Availability[]
Bovine Plumes are dropped by Haagenti, the higher-level variant of the winged cow demon Zagan found exclusively in the Oriental Sorcery Lab. They have a 6.00% base drop rate.
All Bovine Plumes in the player's inventory will be removed on starting New Game Plus: this is to prevent the sequence breaks that would be possible otherwise. It is therefore best to sell them before starting NG+, as the money does carry over.
Usage[]
Bovine Plumes can craft the following items:
- High Jump (x1 Bovine Plume, x1 Double Jump (not consumed))
Bovine Plumes are used to enhance the following Shards:
- Reflector Ray Ranks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (x1 Bovine Plume)
- Optimizer Ranks 8, 9 (x1 Bovine Plume)
- Double Jump Ranks 8, 9 (x1 Bovine Plume)
- High Jump Ranks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (x1 Bovine Plume)
In total the player will require 29 Bovine Plumes to max out all Shards that use them: 17 for High Jump (9 to craft copies of the Shard and 8 for Rank upgrades), 8 for Reflector Ray, and 2 each for Optimizer and Double Jump.
