Bone Toss is a Directional Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Miriam shoots out an arcing bone that travels at a moderate speed, with it pulsing a blood-splattering effect that sends out smaller bones; these are cosmetic effects that mainly exist to explain the broad hitbox. The main bone passes through enemies and walls. If the size of the hitbox has been enlarged enough by ranks, it is possible for one bone to hit the same larger enemy twice before it is done passing through it.
Availability[]
- Dropped by:
- Bone Morte (4.00%)
Bone Toss and Summon Bat are among the shards you are most likely to get up to nine copies of, even if you are not necessarily hunting for shards in your playthrough. This is partly because a Bone Morte and Bat will be in your way every time you leave the main hub at Arvantville and jump up to the Warp Room above it. Because Gold is so scarce at the early stages of the game, you can sell copies of both shards for 300G each without feeling like you are giving up valuable shard grades that normally require a lot more grinding on other enemies to earn back.
Enhancements[]
Rank: Increases coverage.
- Rank 2, 3, 4 (Melting Bone ×1)
- Rank 5, 6, 7 (Demon Bone ×1)
- Rank 8, 9 (Demon Bone ×1, Sinister Skull ×1)
Tips on gathering materials[]
- Melting Bone: Drops from Bone Morte (15%) at Arvantville and Entrance. (Shield Outsider, listed below, also drops this at 12% probability.)
- Demon Bone: Drops from Volcano Morte (10%) at Inferno Cave.
- Sinister Skull: Drops from Shield Outsider (5%) in the advanced enemy room in Entrance, upper Dian Cécht Cathedral, and upper Towers of Twin Dragons.
