Augment Gold is a Passive Shard in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
Augment Gold boosts the value of money (the "gold" is G, the currency, not the material) that drops from environmental objects such as torches. The higher the Shard's Grade, the greater the increase to the value of drops; at Grade 9, no amount of G below 50 will spawn under any circumstances, with 50 itself being rare; while with Grade 9, Shards in both Skill and Passive slots it will be impossible for 50G to drop with 100G being the minimum, 500G common, 1,000G fairly common and occasional drops of 2,000G.
The Shard's Rank adds an extra ability that has enemies drop G when they die in addition to any other items, with the value seemingly based on the enemy's level.
This Shard is one of the best ways to earn a lot of money quickly when combined with MP regeneration buffs from food, a Rank 9 (Skill Shard) Words of Wisdom and the Accelerator Shard (a Skill Shard Detective's Eye is also preferable). With these and Augment Gold equipped as both the Passive and Skill Shard, dashing back and forth in any hall full of torches will quickly earn enormous amounts of money. The Forbidden Underground Waterway is particularly profitable due to the high frequency of torches. The MP use bonuses are used to minimize the chance of dropping Mana Roses instead of G, which will happen if the MP bar is not full: Roses will still drop from time to time due to the nature of the Accelerator Shard.
Even without such tricks, the boost to G acquisition from having Augment Gold as a Skill Shard becomes enormous over time, and it is well worth powering it up as quickly as possible.

Augment Gold is a crafted Shard which does not drop from any enemy. It instead becomes available to craft once the player has at least one Augment LCK in their inventory (drops from Deathtraps in the Inferno Cave and the Oriental Sorcery Lab). Crafting an Augment Gold requires the player own an Augment LCK and uses one Gold. As with all crafted Shards, crafting it does not expend the Augment LCK, only the Gold.
