The Aquatic Blood is a Material in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night.
Description[]
When Blood Steal is used to gain entry into the later, western portion of Forbidden Underground Waterway from the Entrance, the Deeseama enemies must be farmed for their Aqua Stream directional shard in order to progress through the water southeast toward the Hidden Desert. Both the Deeseama swimming through the water and the Scylla lying at the bottom of various submerged rooms drop Aquatic Blood, which enhance various water-themed shards.
For example, Blood Steal itself can finish off its top two ranks using Aquatic Blood; the previous six ranks take a total of three Monster Blood (from Simians in Garden of Silence) and three Witch's Tears (from Cyhyraeths), and all ranks increase the HP recovered by the siphoning effect. The Aqua Stream shard produces a wider stream as it is ranked up, and virtually all of its ranks can be increased through with just Aquatic Blood; only the last two ranks additionally require Queen's Tears, which can be dropped either by the earlier Tamako-Death in upper Livre Ex Machina or by Lamashtu in Secret Sorcery Lab coming up.
One of the earliest conjure shards in the game, Cerulean Splash, is dropped by the Seama and would have been capped at rank 7 through most of the game (since only the Seama's own dropped Writhing Limbs are needed for its first six rank advancements). As of the underwater parts of the waterway, you can finally reach its last two duration-increasing ranks using a total of two Aquatic Bloods and two Water Horse Hooves dropped by the Glashtyns that will be encountered on the way to Hidden Desert.
Finally, defeating the boss at Hidden Desert will let you pick up the Deep Sinker skill shard, which lets you progress west past the Waterway's southwest end by letting you stand on the floor underwater and casting grounded shards like Reflector Ray. Deep Sinker also passively increases your stats underwater depending on how highly it is ranked, and Aquatic Blood lets it elevate through its middle three ranks. (The Deeseama's dropped Slimy Leather and the Glashtyn's dropped Water Horse Mane are needed for the other five ranks.)
