Abigail Cleese is a non-playable character in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. She is a villager from the town of Arvantville who survived the recent demon attack and now grieves over those those who died during the raid and wants to honor their memory.
She was voiced by Fryda Wolff in the English version of the game and by Aiko Ōkubo in the Japanese version.
History[]
Abigail Cleese survived the initial demon attack on Arvantville, but upon discovering the deaths of many of her fellow villagers, she was left with a deep sadness. She tries to help those who have passed away by burying them with different items that may have been significant to them when they were alive. That way, they may rest in peace. Unfortunately, Abigail lacks many of the items that she needs, so she employs Miriam to gather them for her.

Abigail will request from Miriam an item that belonged to a deceased villager, which Miriam can retrieve and bring back to Abigail for a reward. Many of these items can only be created via alchemy or obtained as rare drops from enemies.
