WayForward should get first rights, as they did a good job with the other franchise that Konami seems to have a death grip on, namely, Contra, as they helped to make one of the best entries in the entire franchise in Contra IV/4. Their contribution alone should make them own not only the Contra franchise, but also the Castlevania one, and any other ones that Konami has as well.
Please do not get me wrong, Digital Eclipse did a good job on the Castlevania Collection games, but they are only good with the content, not with the actual games themselves. Honestly, I would partner them with WayForward so, that way, Digital Eclipse could handle the features of the game, and maybe have WayForward help them out if they need help, and WayForward can handle the main game themselves.
